Nothing says “Merry Christmas” like getting that awful flu that has been going around. I got it the day after Christmas and I’m just starting to feel back to normal. Between being sick and the cold weather, I’ve been really bundling up. Today I opted for a black and white ensemble, with just a touch of teal. I love how this outfit reads winter, but is still wearable in Southern California. A lightweight sweater, thin scarf, jeans, and booties are all you really need here, but since the forecast calls for rain, I threw on my raincoat.
I love mixing prints. Technically this sweater isn’t really a print, but the texture looks great next to a clean stripe. (Number one rule to mixing prints: keep one color the same. both the sweater and scarf have black, easy peasy.)
What’s the weather like where you are? What are you wearing to stay warm this winter? I’d love to hear, let me know if the comment section!
